(in my top 5) If you are looking for a new free way to get some good quality links, check it out. Just went back today and updated mine. You can also connect yours to other relevant "pearls" If anyone else has used this or has an account, I would love to hear how their trees are set up and how it helps them, how to optimize etc...

Pinterest is my second largest source of organic (?) traffic, right after Google (well, it's actually right after direct traffic, which is right after Google). However, I may have to totally reinstall my WordPress website due to chronic glitchy problems with it.

I was told that I would all pins attached to my site's photos if I wanted to replace the photos with watermarked ones. If so, would I also lose all my existing pins if I have to reinstall my website from a new backup - whether or not I change them to watermarked ones?

I would hate to have that happen. Maybe I should just accept the glitchy problems in order to keep my existing Pinterest pins. However, IF I end up having to install a backup of my site, maybe I should go ahead and watermark all my photos before I do that.

Anyone else have Pinterest problems upon having to replace a hacked or glitchy site?

Hi Lisa,

First and foremost Thank You for all of your great information. LOVE your videos! This is my first post here.

I have had a self hosted WP blog for over 3 years and I have an email address and Gravitar for my blog that I have been using when I leave comments at other sites. Thanks to your help I have made the switch from Google to Google+ and added my blog and email address to my Google+ profile. I have the author feature working fine -- thanks for that help, too!

My question is now when I leave comments if I'm given the choice should I use my Gravitar identity or my Google+ profile?

Thank you for your help! Kc

Twitter - My Face, Or My Brand Icon?

Hello all, sorry for all the questions I"ve been having recently, social media is not one of my strong points. Anyway, I've been trying to increase my engagement and trust with my audience and I know one of the ways to do this is through social media. Now, right now I have a measly 62 followers, but of course, like almost every Twitter user, I'm looking to increase that.

I've had a hard time deciding if it would be better off for me to use my brand icon / website logo, or a picture of my face. I've read somewhere that people find it more comfortable to connect with people if they can see their face - and I don't hide it. I broadcast on YouTube, I am active on Google+, and of course I comment using the same picture for Gravatar. With the exception of my Facebook page, everything uses my face, but I've yet to decide on Twitter.

What's your opinion on this matter? Thanks all!

Good Or Bad Idea To Link YouTube And Google+?

Hello,

I have a separate account for my YouTube and my Google+ for my website, but they are not connected. YouTube keeps prompting me to link them together, and change my display name. But I've been reluctant to as I don't know if there'd be a downfall to it, that is, my YouTube channel would now be under my name instead of my brand.

Have you linked your YouTube channel and Google+? Would you recommend doing it for me?

I guess I could always put my brand name as a tag incase someone wanted to find it.. hmm. I haven't really found many articles about this subject so I figured I'd ask you guys. Thanks for helping out!

Blip TV Have Restricted Users To One Video Upload Per 24 Hours.

I don't know how many of you have heard of Blip TV but I understand it's quite well known. In case you have not heard of it. Blip TV is a video...

I don't know how many of you have heard of Blip TV but I understand it's quite well known. In case you have not heard of it. Blip TV is a video sharing site like You Tube and My Space is. Well,I have uploaded some of my videos on there and have been using Blip TV for about 3 years now. Well today I uploaded one of my videos and it was uploaded and published. Then I went to upload my second video. But I got this stupid message-

Quote:

Sorry you can only upload one video every 24 hours.

I cannot understand this as in the past,in fact a few months ago,I could upload more than one video if I wanted to. So I searched on Google and found this post on the web which explains the changes that Blip TV have made to their customers here-
http://www.change.org/en-GB/petition...of-their-users

So apparently, now users cannot upload more than one video in 24 hours. The problem is that my video I made is in 3 parts so I have 3 videos. But because of this restriction I can only upload part one of my video, then I have to wait another day before I can upload my second video. Then have to wait another day before I upload my third video.

I tend to make rather long videos,so rather than make a video 30 minutes long,I split my video up into 2 or 3 parts making 3 separate videos. Nothing wrong with that and this is not a problem with You Tube who does not as far as I know have any restrictions regarding this. Though now on Blip TV you can only have one upload per 24 hours.

So if you have more than one video you cannot upload those until after 24 hours have past. So if for example you have made a video in 3 parts as I have, that means your viewers will have to wait 3 days or so before they see the rest of your video story. As you can only upload one video a day, which is so stupid.

In fact I am very angry at this so I have now removed all of my videos from Blip TV in disgust and I won't be using them again. So what's your opinion on this? Have you been faced with the same problems? I encourage you to comment.
