I noticed that my "Estimated earnings" is at $5.94, and I had 47 total views that day, 37 from USA and 7 ad clicks from USA with a CTR of 15.22%. Now I haven't clicked on my ads AT ALL, and I'm afraid that my account will get banned for me not doing ANYTHING wrong.

I know this is usual, I either picked the greatest spot ever, or someone clicked it 7 times on purpose.

Now I did this because we are a publisher for Adsense and I knew the little amount of money that will come in will likely be taxed and therefore we would need to deduct expenses such as the cost to run the website.

I have no business background at all and this just all started out as a hobby.Our site is still just 2 months old and we have spent about $300 for around three years of host fees plus the business license.So far our Adsense account has earned about $6.00 .

Because we use our smart phone often to manage the website on the go I am thinking we can deduct this as taxes as well. I was even wondering about an Ipad.

Can anyone give me information regarding what types of deductions you use. I know that we will be in the minus likely for sometime but as we build content hopefully that will improve.


Humble mumbling is registered as a business under my soon to be ex's name. Does everything just go one his income tax or does a separate tax need to be filed for the web site?
