Article page shows for results instead of index

Hi guys.

I am having a problem. I have currently written a couple of articles for my website on a game. For example if on yahoo you type in modern warfare 2 online tips my site will come up eight. But the page that shows is the index and not the actual page with the tips on it. How do I change this so that the page that has the article will show up as the page in eight in the results?

Excel and table and width

OK - you folks at Website Babbler have helped me out before...i'm hoping you can do it again.....

I have an excel spreadsheet that I'm downloading into a table. I make a column for: "" then for "Data here" then "" "More Date"and then""end of table. The problem is, once I download into my sheet, the table ends up being larger then it needs to be and looks funky.
How can I get rid of all the extra "space" that seems to show up between the different items when I view it in html language???
(I hope this makes sense to someone!!)

i have just finished my videos site, but i need to put some finishing touches before i let you guys see it. One of the things that is delaying me is the fact that, i would like to include some kind of age verification system, because there are some videos which are not suitable for minors. I would like a situation whereby people will have to confirm their before some videos on the site will open.

Trend Micro

I use Trend Micro internet security on my Windows XP system. I have one threat that I have yet to eradicate. Trend Micro states that I need a spyware version 0.841.00 to rid my system of this threat, and I need to update my pattern files and scan engine. I do not know how to do this. Does any person on our forum know how to update pattern files and scan engine on Trend Micro? I will be grateful for any help in this regard. Thanks! William Wilson

Query about doing website design for others

I dont know if this is the right thread to query....

I am pretty good at creating websites for myself and wanted to give it a try creating website for clients. I am a member of hosting and discovered that they do not allow me to create a website for someone under my account as this would be considered as sharing. The only way is for the client to sign up a hosting account or I buy another.

I have learned website designing through the hosting site who has provided me with free website building tool where I learnt everything via their video tutorials and help. I am concerned that if a client buys a domain name with a different host I wouldnt be able to transfer all the hosting pages of the site I created to a different hosting site...I think this has to do with the embedded hosting name in the html page or something.

Can anyone advise me what the best solution is...any website designers out there???? :)

Does anyone know how to remove this unresolved threat? I have resolved all of the threats on my computer system except ADWARE SOFTOMATE. I have used Trend Micro full security scanner, and I have used a fully updated version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I will be very grateful for any help with this. Thanks a lot...William Wilson

Website loading time

I have a website and I tested the loading time and it said it loaded in 1.0 seconds. Is that a good loading time?

Edit: There's suppose to be a number four next to the 0. So it said it loaded in one point 0 four seconds. Is that a good loading time? My number four on my keyboard isn't working.

Multiple/International Sites

I have a fairly successful U.S. site www.WoodPelletPrice.com that is finishing up a fairly significant redevelopment in Joomla (with more information and forums). Once it is updated, I want to roll out multiple duplications of the site (Canadian, British, lots of European versions, etc.) and start off with just Adsense revenue. I just want to cover my hosting costs to start.

Anyone have any guidance on duplicating international sites?

Unresolved Threats

I am having problems removing 4 Unresolved Threats...I use Windows XP as my operating system on a Gateway computer...For internet security, I have Trend Micro installed...I also use Malware Bytes for scanning...I did a full scan with Malware Bytes and after 1 hr 32 minutes, the full scan completed and I got the message "The scan completed successfully, no malicious items were detected, click main menu". This sounded good, however I was not convinced that there were no malicious items, so I shut down the computer system completely for about 10 minutes...I then started the computer system again and once again ran a Full Scan only this time I used the Trend Micro to run the full scan...After 2 hrs 40 minutes, Trend Micro completed the full scan with the message that it had found 12 threats...Trend Micro reported that it had resolved 8 of the threats, but 4 threats remained unresolved...Trend Micro gave me a message to "Please quarantine or delete these files right away" as regards the 4 unresolved threats...These 4 unresolved threats are "Adware Softomate", TROJ_GEN.7X2418S, TROJ_Generic.DIT, and a second TROJ_Generic.DIT...I copied these names down on paper, and I copied the names of the infected files and their folder paths...I called the Gateway Help people and gave them the above information, and they were unable to tell me how to resolve this, although they did try...Gateway Support finally told me to just go ahead and run the system as usual, and watch out for any error messages, and when any appeared to call them back...That was about 12 hours ago and nothing unusual has happened...Does any person in the forum have any advice for me on how to resolve this issue? ....I will be most grateful for any help with this situation...Thanks! ...William Wilson

Website Looks bad in other browsers

I have been working on a website, I took Lisa's CSS template, and have changed it to how I want, I have the design down but I still need to add content.

Ive been opening it in Mozilla Firefox to see how it looks, but just now I tried Internet Explorer and it looks like.. ahem, Terrible! When you mouse over links they move, the content box is under the navigation and not to the right of it.

What did I do wrong?

I have a few question about a sitemap..

Do I need a sitemap for my website, what is the main purpose of a sitemap, and what are the specifications for making one?

I notice some websites have a sitemap link in their footer, some websites dont have any links and sometimes you can type /sitemap.html and it pulls up their sitemap even though they dont have it linked.. so it seems that it is somewhat important, I just dont know why..
