Filezilla with Notepad++

I have been trialing some of the Editors and FTP clients lately and find that I like Filezilla and Notepad++ the best. When used with Firebug it is very easy for me to find the things I want to change (stylesheet, index.html, etc.) on my blog or forum.

The problem is: When the changes are made in NP++ what do I save them as where they can easily be found in Filezilla?

I've googled and watched tutorials on Youtube all day and none of them explain this very well. They show everything but sped through the saving part in Notepad++ and uploading the changes in Filezilla.

Please type very slow because I am still learning all this ;-)
