Hi all,

I have a graphic here in a magazine from 2006 - I kept it because it says a lot about the site Im building now. I contacted the designer and he has got back to me to ask me to explain further what I intend to do with the graphic, and I've replied but no answer. I'm not sure what the legalities are here - I can get it recreated on Fiverr and underneath give the original designer credit as "inspiration" for the pic, but I don't want to do that now unless I have to. So, can I get, not an exact copy made, but the same kind of idea without breaking any copyright laws?

Thanks

This new post on the AdSense blog arrived in my inbox today:

http://adsense.blogspot.com.au/2013/...de-policy.html

I took the time to go over the updated placement rules. Turns out that "responsive design" is allowed, but hiding ads with CSS display: none is disallowed.

This doesn't make sense. I have a responsive site and I have to use this supposedly disallowed CSS declaration to hide ad units when they are too wide to fit on a screen. For example, a 728 x 90 ad unit is simply not going to fit on a smartphone screen, end of story.

Hiding the ad units seems to be the only option. So how can it be disallowed? Is there another way around it?

Pinterest is my second largest source of organic (?) traffic, right after Google (well, it's actually right after direct traffic, which is right after Google). However, I may have to totally reinstall my WordPress website due to chronic glitchy problems with it.

I was told that I would all pins attached to my site's photos if I wanted to replace the photos with watermarked ones. If so, would I also lose all my existing pins if I have to reinstall my website from a new backup - whether or not I change them to watermarked ones?

I would hate to have that happen. Maybe I should just accept the glitchy problems in order to keep my existing Pinterest pins. However, IF I end up having to install a backup of my site, maybe I should go ahead and watermark all my photos before I do that.

Anyone else have Pinterest problems upon having to replace a hacked or glitchy site?

Hi All,

I estimate that a person would need to earn at least $40 per day from his websites on the average in order to depend fully on it for his income. At that amount, he will be able to afford three meals, utilities and rent, with nothing left for savings. If he lives in an expensive city, $40 will not be enough.

In order to have enough disposable income to put away, most people would need to earn $100 per day and above.

Would you agree to my estimate, based on the cost of living in the city you're living in?

Can you take a PayPal button code and alter it to add more text boxes? I have done this and I was wondering if it won't do anything or if that is the correct way to add more input boxes?
</form>

(i put the stuff I added in red)

Now this looks like it works, it looks like what I wanted it to, and it even works as in you can add stuff into the boxes, and click on "Buy it Now" and it takes you to the payment page, but does rest of the text boxes get ignored or does it actually record and send you that info upon payment?
