Domain prices back in the day
I thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone paid for there first domain. I bought my first domain back in 2000, it was a .Com and cost me $25 for 2 years and that was even on sale.
Did you know this is the oldest domain >> http://symbolics.com/

1985! Wow, I was 9 years old.
I paid $35 for my first domain back at good ole' NetworkSolutions. And I think their prices are still the same. LOL

I was 9 too. My family had just gotten their first PC: 8088 processor 4.77 mhz, 640KB RAM, 20MB hard drive and 4 color CGA graphics. That computer still runs today.
Seems like a long, long, time ago.

first site
1985? I was 1.
Suppose I'm the noob, I just bought my first domain and space a few months ago from 1&1. I skipped a few steps and started with a CMS, Drupal. I primarily use it for my family to keep in touch, but the only active user other than myself is dear Grandma. Oh well.

20MB hard drive! OH MY GOODNESS! My family got our first PC in 1986. It was an Apple IIC. Can't remember the specs but I know the printer was the size of my garage. LOL
We gave the PC away to our old neighbors and I wonder if it still runs. Knowing Apple products, it probably does.

Correction: knowing old apple products. I don't know what happened, but it seems that the newer stuff gets, the shorter its life span... you know? D:

Very true, although my iPod has lasted longer than any other mp3 player brand I've ever had.
