Default Should I change my name!?

I have this horrible delema! x____X

My blog, universityprincess, is aimed at the female college set. But I blog enough about lots of beauty-related topics that aren't REALLY college specific but that age group would probably be interested in, right?

Well, my friend said "I bet a lot of people who aren't in college would really like this blog, too, you should change the name."

So I've been thinking about changing the name to something that's more inclusive, but I'm not really sure if I should. I don't think a lot of people would notice because it's still pretty new. What should I do?

That's a tough call, but if the site is new and you aren't getting a lot of traffic yet then NOW is definitely the time to do it.

Change it. You can always 301 the old domain to the new one.

I definately agree with lisa, if your not getting much traffic, then now is the time to do it. When you get your new domain name you could just forward all traffic from your old domain name to your new one. And to all those curious, a 301 is a "permanent" redirect. So say you have your site on http://www.mysite.com but you decide you dont like the name or want to change it or whatever the reason. You can set up .htaccess or in some cases do it automatically depending on your host to permanently redirect all incoming visitors from your old domain name to your new one.
