need help with name

i am having a super hard time coming up with a name for my website. all the names i have thought of that i really like are taken

. so i am hoping you guys can help me with brainstorming. i have come up with tons of names, but none i really like enough.

here is my website idea. it is an information website on cloth diapering and everything related to it (which is alot), babywearing, attachment parenting, natural parenting, and work at home mom made items, and supporting work at home moms. Im going to have tons of articles, how to's and faq's on all of the above. i am also going to have personal stories and down the road a forum and reviews.

here are the names i liked but were taken: baby buzz, diaper net, the pail, the diaper bag, eco baby. i really want the name to be catchy and somehow relate to my site - i.e. letting moms know that its tons of information and resources they need for those things. so if you can help me i would really appreciate it! thanks!

)?

It could imply two things:

1) your site is the info for new mommmys and because of the valuable information it is a new mommys best friend.

2) you mentioned wanting to add a forum later which would naturally be a place for mommys to create new friendships through your site!

also, using the "my" at the beginning makes it personal from babies perspective...

just a thought.

I think your best bet is to keep baby in the name. So babyKeyword or babykeywordkeyword, wish i could help you more. BTW "my" in there as suggested is a great idea.

there are a few of names i have thought about using but i dont know if i really like - green baby review, eco baby review or by mama for mama. does it matter if someone has 'green baby' or 'eco baby' already? sigh

I think it absolutely matters...

Is there a reason besides the fact that it is a current trend to promote "eco and green" that you want to do this? Is it the main aspect of your niche; sub-niche? Why not have that be a part of the site but not the main emphasis?

Obviously, you didn't really care for my Mommy direction.

I like your by mama for mama idea a lot. It sort of conveys some of the same things as my suggestion.

Can you give me some more to go on?

its not that i didnt like your suggestion. its a good idea. i just am waiting for the one that really jumps out at me, if you know what i mean. basically cloth diapering is good for the earth, thats why i was thinking of the green or eco idea.

I'm not sure you will draw the proper audience to your website by using "green baby review" unless your looking for the National Inquirer UFO crowd

This may not help, but everyone in my family old and young call cloth diapers...
spit-up rags and use them as such.

lol! there is a HUGE cloth diapering community. otherwise i prob wouldnt do such a site.

i appreciate the ideas. im not sure if keep it clean baby would really go with cloth diapering and such though. if i could find a variation on some of the names i already like but are taken, that would be awesome. or something thats like them but with different words even. i have been brainstorming like crazy.
here are some that my family came up with that i dont know if i like - the diaper matrix (too sci fi?), the diaper project, the diaper portal, the diaper dimension

what about something to do with "old school moms" since the cloth diaper thing is really old school. But add the eco thing in there as well?

I know I keep coming back to the mommy rather than baby influence but the mommy is the target more so than the baby. I do see and understand what it is you are trying to do though...

I found some domain names that are still available and conatin the keyword "baby":

I have an advice for ya..
Buy a domain name on the "baby" keyword and not on the "diaper" keyword.
Coz diaper keyword wont get you much traffic as the baby keyword. As I've researched I found the domain names have very less impact on the traffic. Good traffic comes from better SEO(Search Engine Optimisation) , changing the layout of the page as per the search engine tracking, Marketting techniques. The most effective traffic tool is to provide Guides and Manuals free of cost in pdf format on your site and collect E-mail addresses of users.
