Default Best Domain & Host Resell Affiliates

Lisa,

I saw a thread on here a few days ago that I can't seem to find. It was about being a domain & host reseller and how you can make residual income from it. Can you direct me to where that thread was? I would like to sign up for that.

Thanks

Kevin

Hey Kevin

It was this thread
http://www.websitebabble.com/website...layed-off.html

But I don't think the link to the domain reseller program was in there. Rwskate was referencing my blog post and that's where you can sign up...

Caveat: This is the one I recommend because I use it. I'm sure there are other great reseller programs too. The one I use is sponsored by GoDaddy so I figured I couldn't go wrong with the top domain name selling company.

Lisa,

Thanks for the info. Tell me something..... What are some of the best features that you love about www.ultimatedomainresellers.com?

And, are they the same as www.websitepalace.com?

Yep. WebsitePalace.com is my branded name that I created from ultimatedomainresellers. You get a chance to name your own site, set your prices, decide what products to offer, etc. There's an admin panel that allows you to customize your reseller site.

First of all, you earn commissions on every sale from your reseller store. So say someone buys a domain, hosting, extra email accounts, extra bandwidth, traffic packages etc. you earn a commission for all of it. And since you set your prices for all products you determine your profits.

And when people order, they are tied to your site for life. So even if they come back a year later and buy more domains you continue to earn that commission. (Because their customer ID that is created is stored in your reseller account.) So even if they call support to renew by phone, the reps know to credit you with the commission.

I love the fact I can call and get someone on the phone pretty quickly should I have a question.

I've been reselling for 6 years and haven't had many gripes. One thing I wish they'd do is announce when new products get added to the store. That way I can get a heads up and set the price I want before people start ordering.

They send you an automated email every time someone orders and often times I'll get an email and see someone has ordered a product and I'm like "What is that? I didn't even know I offered that." LOL

Default I have a question

Hi Lisa,

I was just reading your reply. I didn't realize you doing this for 6 years, that's a long time. Just wondering has it be successful for you? How did you get that particular site promoted/marketed to actually get customers? Just curious about how you went about it. And also, during the 6 years that you've done it, have you seen a increase/decrease and/or things are about the same?

Renee

P.S. My new blog is coming along nicely. I hope to have it up and running next week sometime - to be continued-

That's why I had that disclaimer in the other thread about this not being a get rich quick scheme and it takes time. Plus I have HUGE advantage because I have a heavily trafficked site on website creation.

I started making a profit in the first month. I think I made $250 or something like that but remember I had 2createawebsite.com AND the site had about 400-500 visits per day at that time.

But just because you don't have a site on website creation that doesn't mean you can't make good money. I'm sure you know people who want a website right? Instead of sending them to godaddy, send them to your reseller store instead. The residuals can really pay off. That's why I emphasized in that blog entry that if you don't have a site on website creation you could also focus your promotions offline.

I have a friend who just joined the reseller program and he's already got his friends signing up. He's a flight attendant and is always talking to new people everyday. He just hands out his card with his reseller site address on it.

Glad to hear about your blog. Keep up the great work!!

Default O-K

Interesting about your friend who's a flight attendant, that's really something. I guess my thinking is, I want to be able to do something at all angles, have a few things going on: a blog that generates real interest/traffic while helping people, domain reseller page that does something and lastly my website. Very, very interesting. I'm taking this all in as you can tell-

Thanks for responding back to me!

Renee
