Your right, in dreamweaver I wouldn't have a file with ken-e.org or xyz.com as in your example to me. I did create the index.html for my website and created the public_html folder for the remote connection.
I then transfered the files over to the remote panel in dreamweaver and the files transferred over to the public_html folder.
Now, you mentioned a step that I that I'm trying to figure out how to do which was uploading the index.html to the xyz.com. So how would I go about uploading my index.html to my ken-e.org domain name?
Any help you or anyone can give me will be much appreciated. Believe me, all your help does sink in, even if I have to let it be for a day or so.
Thanks,
Ken-e

i'm not familiar with webpalace.
but when people register with a domain from me, they don't send me name servers if they use someone else's hosting. They have their own account login info, they log into their account, they click on manage domain names, and they will see in the admin panel the name servers where their website points to. If it is wrong they simply click on the names that are there, they are hyperlinked to take them to a screen where they can edit the name server names, and they enter the correct name.
It can take up to 48 hours for it to populate, but so far, its been pretty instantaneous to be able to type in the website address and pull up the index.html file.
Hope that helps?
