It would really benefit you to learn the basics of website building. Without that you're at an extreme disadvantage out here. And I promise you it's not hard. Get a program like CoffeeCup or experiment with the free ones like Nvu. I taught myself by playing around and making as many mistakes as possible. LOL And as you've seen from my posts here I am far from a programmer. I've learned enough to get by.

I'd hold off on the forum though until you learn how to build a site and understand how to draw in traffic. Forums are dreadfully difficult to make popular when you haven't gotten the site and marketing part down.
Hola folks,

Sorry for long response back to those who answered my thread. I've been under the weather with the sniffles and cold sleep:. Based, on what everyone is telling I will give it a consistent effort to build up the site. Initially, purchased the domain via Domain Profiteer, to make quick money, but after a few months and a $100 monthly membership, I decided it wasn't worthwhile anymore.

Thought about selling it via Ebay but just never got around to it. I haven't given it a clue on how to plan out the site (www.health-care-knowledge.com)-will it be information or what...not sure. Health care is an interesting topic but ow much so for me I don't know. So I'll have to do some exploring to see what angle I can leverage the site from.

Thanks,
moimoi94

There was no logical use of the JohnCow .com domain, Mr.Cow made it work for him!
I 'll check it out my friend and get back to you on that site.

Hi moimoi94,

I see that you used Domain Profiteer to purchase the domain name. I'm curious as to how you liked the program? I'm an affiliate but don't use the program myself. Just wondering what your opinion is.

Thanks,

Hi Greg1,

IMHO Domain Profiteer is more for someone with intermediate experience and beyond. The $100 monthly subscription is quite costly for most individuals, especially those starting out with no prior knowledge like myself with domains. Two, there's no tools or process in place to test domains within that 3-5 day grace period of purchase for profitability, if you decide to get your money back. Three, the customer support that I encountered was not impressive at all-the young lady I was dealing was not knowledgeable whatsoever.

Four, from what I can remember, they offered premium members researched domains that could be profitable on a round robin basis. I didn't see much benefit because it wasn't done like on a weekly basis it was more like a few times a month and you have so many members...so not an added value I feel. Five, the forum wasn't as helpful because some of the members were not too helpful and at times a bit rude. And lastly, videos showcasing step by step would have been really beneficial on how to sell a domain on eBay and other avenues, how to test it, build a site around a purchased domain and etc. To me that's real added value for a $100 monthly subscription to use Domain Profiteer.

IMHO, I wouldn't recommend beginners in purchasing DP. It's best to do research first before purchasing any tool system like Domain Profiteer because there are comparable tools and better online at a cheaper price and/or free resources. Hopefully, this helps you and so your an affiliate for DP correct?

peace,
moimoi94

Hi moimoi94,

Thanks for your review of Domain Profiteer. Your thoughts pretty much are in line with what I am thinking. That $100 a month is a bit steep when there are free tools available and the sales pitch is to Get Rich Quick with domain names!

I have been considering dropping the affiliate program for those reasons. I gotta feel good about what I recommend.

Thanks again,

Hi Greg1,

I can understand where your coming from but you do have those individuals who could care less by selling things they don't 100% endorse online. There's more than enough money online for everyone and that's the truth. Though, at the end of the day, one has to decide whether their reputation is worth upholding or chasing dollar bill. I checked your site and I like it and keep us posted.

peace,
moimoi94
