How many article sites to submit to?

I have a couple of really cool articles written and want to submit them to an article(s) site. I have not really found a solid answer on this question so am asking what is best? Please give consideration to income opportunity versus link juice or a combination of.

Submit the article to only one article site like Hub or EZ?
Submit the article to a few article sites, say 3-10 of the top ones?
Submit the article to every article site you can find?

The article has some specific focus and rewriting it a different way of few times will not work. A couple of articles was good enough to make a national magazine about 8-10 years ago. I can now remarket them, but do not want to do so in hard print.

I submitted my first article ever to Enzine Articles. I'm still curious how many sites you would submit the article to?

I submit to a number of article sites. I don't use the same article twice, so it does take some time to submit to the sites.

Some of the links to my blog from the article sites already show up as links in my Webmaster tools.

Submit the article to ezine first, then submit them to the top 10 directories. The top ten directories are usually the ones found in Google when you search for submit articles. Search Google for the top 10 and you will a list of them.

I usually submit to 6 o7 at a time. My best advice would be to experiment and to submit to that sites that actually produce results for you, in terms of both visitors and link juice.

I have heard submitting each article to like 5-10 directories is best and then repeat the process as needed.
