I REALLY need help focusing my blog!

I'm just really not sure what I should write about!

Right now I really feel like I'm not focused enough.

Any tips to help me out?

Hi augenauf,

That really is a very hard question, but I think that you should have the answer to it, because writing is a passion, so all you have to do is write what you are passionate about, let it come from your heart, a tip to help you is write down Ideas you get on a piece of paper or in a text file on your pc and keep on adding to them, so when you need to write pick a topic from that list and start writing. You can get Ideas from other related websites and blogs or articles from article directories, I'm not telling you to copy and paste other peoples content, but reading other peoples work will help you open up your box of Ideas a little.

Augenauf, think about topics that you enjoy talking to your friends about. What gets you excited? Are you very opinionated about a topic? Everyone has that one (or two.... or three) topics that get them fired up. Grab a journal and write down potential options. I bet if you take the time to think about it you'll come up with some ideas. Take your time. It's worth the wait.

But it's sooooo tough not to combine topics.

Should I make separate blogs for the things I'm interested in?

I am interested in beauty, equality (racial and for women) and I love to give tips for how to get into the holidays.

But these don't seem to fit well all into one blog. D:

Originally a blog is an online diary, so you are free to write all your personal topics and Ideas into one blog, but to monetize your blog correctly you should concentrate on one Niche topic because you can target traffic that way, unless you are popular and anyway people will come to your blog to read what ever you have to say.

Why don't you try adding a poll to your blog. Choose about 5 topics and let your visitors vote on which topic they would like to discuss, or what they think is most interesting. Maybe that will get you started.
