Default Can I Announce My Contest?

First, hello and how have you been. I haven't been around here for a while and I now see that your site is still growing and very active. Congrats!

I was wanting to know if there was a section that I can post a link to a contest I am holding on a site of my own. If there is not that cool, I just wanted to know before I posted it some where it should not be.

Thanks,

Nick

Nick, promoting (or even announcing) your contest would fall in the "self promotion" category. Unfortunately I have chosen not to allow people to promote or publish their site features. It's too risky and can get out of hand with self promotion. I do appreciate you asking though.

Oh but you can put the link in your sig file, of course. You just can't post messages/threads just to tell people to check your sig or go to your contest.

Good to have you back, by the way.
