Lightbulb Slogan Stumpped!

Good Morning my friends!

I went to sleep last night stumped with writers block for a slogan for my new venture QuoteDecor.com....hmmmm....well, woke up this morning with the following running through my head:

QuoteDecor.com - Thought Provoking Citation Decoration!

We all know that sometimes what seems great, may actually just be sleep deprived craziness from putting in too many hours on the PC!

Please share your thoughts and let me know if it is cheesy or fabulous?

Some others:
Decorating your world one word at a time
Inspiration Decoration for your world

I'm stuck....HELP PLEASE!

Thanks everyone,

Kerry,

Great use of the subconscious mind. It can work wonders. I think it sounds pretty good.

Not that it is any better, but this popped into my mind. Something along this line might work, too.

"Shape Your Mind, Shape Your Future with Citation Decorations!"

I don't envy you this decision. It is a hard one but important because it is not something you like to change later. Still it can have a major impact on your project.

Hi Kerry!

I'm sorry that you are in a slump and am glad that you are able to reach out to friends for the help that you need. I am a great fan of slogans, so I would like to help you if I may. Here are somethings that came to mind when I read your post:

QuoteDecor.com: Placing motivation in your decoration!

QuoteDecor.com: Decoration for the thoughtful mind.

QuoteDecor.com: Making walls talk.

QuoteDecor.com: The chattering walls.

We as parents must encourage our children, as well as ourselves, to move forward in this world to be the best that we can be. I feel that placing sayings or encouraging words here and there in my home sort of keeps me from harping at my family. These words are a silent message to my family that I want the best for them and that I cannot do this alone without their help.

Hope something here will help your writers block.

Cindy

WOW! I love it...thank you so much for the feedback and the fabulous slogan idea, Cindy!!! It has a great ring to it!

I'm hoping to finalize my decision by tomorrow, so here's hoping...

How's about this???

QuoteDecor.com - Sticking Inspiration in your Decoration

Seeing as I will be selling Vinyl Lettering for walls, I think this might actually be catchy?

Or is "sticking" too forward? Should I use "Express" or "Place"?

I missed some of this thread when I was out of town and just saw your "Stick Inspiration...." message. I'm not sure I like "sticking". It's sounds a little abrupt to me. I just think another verb would go better, unfortunately I cannot think of much at the moment. Maybe "Adding Inspiration to Your Decoration" or something like that. I'm just not a fan of "Sticking."

Question

That's what I'm worried about as well...You just confirmed it, Lisa....(see my other post before that...)

I thought sticking because vinyl would be stuck on walls? Hmmm- perhaps "Adding" would actually work?

Placing?
Expressing?

Ooooh I see. Yeah I still think that may be a bit of a stretch but maybe it's just me because I wasn't thinking along those lines. Your audience may, however. I kind of like Expressing.

Hey, this is not my area of expertise or anything, but you get something like this going and it is hard not to chime in!

I just had a thought (always dangerous). Do you even need a word like that in front? How about:

QuoteDecor.com - Inspiration through Decoration

That also leaves open the way to sell things that don't stick on anything should you desire.

I was chewing it over all day this "slogan stumped feeling" and I know that it is an important one, perhaps that's why I am having a hard time finalizing!

I think you may be right on this one James, as I will not only be selling vinyl (though that is my primary product offering).

Thanks to all for your input- always appreciated!

Hugs,

Way to go James. Sometimes keeping it simple works the best. I like it and it fits!
