I added a few content 2.0 invitations on my site about 2 months ago, and I still have not gotten any submissions. After I changed my design, I seeded a few submissions, hoping that would get the ball rolling, but still nothing.

I'm thinking about starting a contest, maybe offering a $25 gift card for the best baby shower cake, recipe, theme idea, etc. But I want my contest to be very unique. Almost every other baby shower site I've come across already has a contest like this.

Does anybody have ideas for a unique contest? I particulary want something that will promote visitors to submit pictures as well.

Can you have a photo contest then? Best themed photos? And of course on the submission form ask form permission to use the photos.

How 'bout a contest that has people submit a unique baby shower games they've played. Seems like all showers have those same games (guess the mother's belly inches, the "don't-say-the-word-baby" game, etc.) Maybe that's along the same lines as the ones you said you don't want to do, but just a thought.

Or how 'bout a contest for the most creative baby shower invitation? You could have them send them to you in a Word or PDF file.
