Default I can write plenty of content but punctuation is a challange

Before I bore you with all the details, can someone direct me to a good free program online that can help edit my content, as it relates to grammar and punctuation.

When it comes to writing content, I don't really have difficulty filling a page. My problem isn't the quantity but it is the quality as it relates to punctuation and grammar. I found a program called Spell Check Plus which is free. It is helpful but not very good with helping with my handycap. I don't have an advanced program on my computer like Micorsoft Word Office either. I use freeware which is called Open Office Writter. One of my websites, Prayer For Youth, has daily devotionals for teenagers. I write all of the content for them and a good friend edits the content. I get frustrated because, many of the suggested ways to increase traffic to my websites are related to writing a lot of content. So, I post to forums and blogs using the best of my ability. I have struggled in this area all of my life. I have been able to improve in this arena and at the same time accept that I was created to be who I am.

Here is a creative idea. I certainly am not the only person in these shoes who has writer blues. Perhaps a free website with human editing would be something that could become a lucrative venture.

If anyone can direct me to a free service online that can help, I would be really grateful.

Default How about this?

Jordy,

Why not going to the Sun extension site (they publish Open Office) and install the free add-on that checks grammar in Open Office?

You will find it at:

Also, if I may suggest it, try to look at your potential to learn English grammar in a more positive light--you have learned a lot to be able to write as you do. Why not check into some of the free online tutors for English and learn just a little more. It can help you in all of life. Some of ESL classes are quite good and free, too.

Although I usually write my content in Kompozer, I usually copy and paste it into MS Word before I publish, to catch any grammer errors I have missed.

Here is a site that has a lot of tips for writers. The webmaster is an SBIer and very helpful on the forums over there.

Firefox is not just a great free ware browser and good alternative to IE it does indeed have a built in dictionary and spell checker which usually catches out any typo's you can set it to auto-correct so when your writing your latest blog entry you can simply right to your hearts content and have a perfect grammer.

Try checking your writing before you post or right, or even get a second opinion via a friend to briefly read through your work, eventually if you maintain a good reading ability and keep practising on your grammer it should come!
