Default Limited Content

Hey all....what do you do, when your niche has an extremely limited amount of content? I can't offer a news letter, because there isn't anything new to write about every week or month. All the info on the subject has been re-hashed all over the internet so many times, even I am sick of reading it. What to do?

I think it depends on the niche, but this is exactly when your website can really stand out! Here are some things that might help:

1. Does this niche consist of a hungry crowd?
If they are, find out what they are buying, and write articles about those products... reviews, how to select/compare products, and related issues. Also, think about why they are buying these products (what needs/problems are these products solving), and you might come up with ideas for new content.

2. Can you put a unique twist or a fresh approach. Think about it. In my opinion, usually there is a new way to present something.

3. Make your content relevant to small groups of people. Within almost any industry or topic, you will find interest from different groups of people. If you talk about the general topic from the lens/approach that would appeal to specific groups of people, you might have more fresh content to write about.

Hope this helps or if none of these apply to your market, let me know and I will think of some more

Complimentary but not Competition

You can always find content or information and products that compliment any niche. If you are selling miniature jock straps, maybe you can talk about and sell huge jock straps too. Or if you are selling miniature jock straps you may move to parallel market like other miniatures.

Just an idea.

One thing I do is have google alerts for topics I might want to write about. This helps me stay on top of any trends and provides new inspiration.
