Default What Blog Resource Should I use

Okay, I finally launched my blog this week. But I have a question. Currently I'm on Godaddy.com's Shared Hosting Plan, which means that I can use a variety of tools that comes with the plan from Blog Tools, Forum Tools, .NET Nuke, Gallery Tools etc. One of the Blogging Tools I signed up with was WordPress, which I've come to like over the past week. I can customize my Blog to look exatcly like my own website(in process), or as many of you know, I can simply pick a theme and go with it. This is all great. However, now my concern will be marketing my blog and getting more traffic. I mostly blog about anything Adobe or CSS related. My question is should I be using WordPress, or some other Blog Tool that you guys use, that automatically drive Traffic. I saw something where Lisa had said to be sure that it's indexed on Google or something like that. What should I do next, now that my blog is up and running? Use a New Blog Tool? Stick with what I've got and Market it using some resources you guys provide? What?

Hi Jimmy

No blog tool drives traffic automatically. You need to market it nonetheless. Go to www.technorati.com and join their free service to start promoting your blog. Also give www.blogrush.com a try. It's new and I'm not sure how well it's going to go but it's worth a look. There are tons of blog submission services for free out there you can use, just Google something like "Free blog submissions."

I get all my blog traffic from my site so I don't use a lot of the savvy tools many other people use here. Hopefully others have some more advice for ya.

Good luck!
