I tried to add some extra adsense ads to theis blogger template and failed. Can anyone give me a couple of tips? I actually forgot to copy my source code and the top of my blog now has additional space that wasn't there before. Grrr

Default It can be done

You can remove that extra space and start over again. Go into the Layout of your particular blog and choose the page element you want to make changes to and you have the choice of removing that page element. Do this.

Once you have the correct google code, choose to 'add page element' and paste in the code and save your changes.

Make sure you have the correct Google adsense code that you're ready to paste in that page element.

Default Blogger Templates

In my search to fix my messed up blog I discovered that I could upload my own Blogger template. I am so new at this stuff. I didn't know it was so easy to find a good template and create an awesome looking site using Blogger templates.

For weeks I have been frustrated trying to figure out the html codes to get certain things to work the way I would like them to. Every time I would read an article about placing Adsense into Blogger the authors would always refer to altering the html codes. I just got frustrated with all the advice because not once did their suggestions match my blog codes. Even the Blog techs gave me the run around.

But I am looking good now, Woohoo!

Now I understand why Lisa told me a couple of weeks ago to consider using a different template for the Wordpress Blog I was trying to alter.

There are many Blogger templates you can use, as you found out.

The more you understand HTML, the easier it is to create your own.
