Default Word Press the free blog site - Shocking statistics

Here's a statistics I found at the free blog community called Word Press, 2,888,891 blogs with 111,237 new posts today. Today means this morning before 8am.

For a moment, I almost got discouraged. Here's why, I keep hearing that in order to increase traffic to my site, I must generate a lot of content.

Today, I will publish about 10 comments having around 50 words and one 500 word article. That's like shooting a BB into a huge ocean!

Have you seen Yahoo Answers? It is like an Internet content stream of polluted water flowing into the place where we are trying to get better SERPS. We are going to have to create blogs filled with quality information if we are going to win at this.

We must have a blog that brings people back and causes others to refer us.

Lisa's, 2 create a website blog, keeps my interest up. I visit about every 2 days to see what kind of wisdom she has to share. I also give her referrals like this one and create links pointing the her blog.

I think the key words we need to focus on are Content generators if we are going to have a shot at staying in the game.

I just keep writing content and slowly increase my visitor count.

The one thing that I do know is that out of those close to 3 million blogs, a vast majority of them are probably no good or outdated. Many people quit blogs that don't pay off for them right away, or they get bored about blogging.

Totally agree TG. Probably only about 50% of that big number are active blogs. It's all about making your site stand out in whatever niche you choose. Don't just do what everyone else is doing. Give your blog an identity with your unique, useful content. You can do it!
