Question Adding Pages to Blogger

I have a Blogger question. I tried finding the answer on Blogger, but couldn't find anything.

Is it possible to add pages to Blogger? I would like to add TV show recaps and other lengthier articles and info to my blog but I don't want to add it to my main page.

I was toying with the idea of just creating another blog specially for recaps, etc., and then link to it from my main blog, but I am worried this could have an adverse effect on my search engine ranking. Could doing this effect my ranking?

Badrobot, every post you make becomes a page in and of itself. Either click on posts in layout and set it to display only one post or you can do a teaser. Where you have two sentences on the homepage with a link at the bottom which takes you to the rest.

Only problem. They ain't got any tools for it. So I'm afraid you'll have to strain your eyes implementing the darn HTML code lol. I'm sure someone with more experience will help ya out.

KRK, sorry I have no clue either. I just search for outside templetes that look like wordpress...

Yes, that's what I'm talking about.

Unfortunately, I guess it's not going to happen according to webman's post (thanks for the info). I wanted it to be a bit more like an actual website where I can add actual pages that can be opened in their own window. I guess I just have to accept the limitations of blogs and go ahead and create an actual website.

There must be a way to do this. TechieGuy (another member of WB) has Blogger and pages (technicallyeasy.net). He hosts his blog on his own, though.

Alternatively, Wordpress (wordpress.com) lets you create pages.

There are severe limitations with blogger, such as creating and uploading your own pages.

Right now I get around that by creating posts that are backdated to June 2007 (so they don't show up as a recent post on my home page). I then create links to those pages, since I know the URL (created once the post is published). I disable the comments for those posts.

Navigation and menu bars are easy in Blogger. On my blog I simply created one and added the HTML to the template of my blog. The navigation menu on my blog are simply "li" tags layed out using CSS. The links to the items in the menubar are done using the process I explained above.

Hope this helps...a little.

This guy has a method. I had it bookmarked because I was considering trying it. Now I have decided to switch to Wordpress hosted on my host/server so probably never will try it.

Not sure it is what you are looking for though. Good luck.
