Default Technorati

What is the next step after signing up for Technorati? What are my goals with it? What results should I expect?

Here's a great article I bookmarked a while back that gives a great explanation on how to get the most out of it.

http://www.bloggingbasics101.com/101...chnorati_.html

Just like any other social networking sites, you have to get engaged with other technorati users and "favorite" their blogs in your account. So I would start by doing a search for other homeschooling or related blogs and add them to your favorites. They'll discover your blog when they check who's added them and so forth. That's one way to get going.

I've noticed my stumbleupon traffic has really picked up as of late. I think a big part of that is I make a point to stumble other related sites and rate them as I go.

That's a very useful article, Lisa... I will have to bookmark it for now since I am not a big blogger yet

I have played around with StumbleUpon a while back, but I need to start using it more consistently.

Thanks for the article Lisa. I'll have to read through it.

I find that I sign up for some of the social networks, but don't really participate in them. Sometimes it's hard to find the time.

I know what you mean. I think I've signed up for most of the popular ones at some point but haven't gotten involved. And from what I've read, the people who get the most out of these networks actively use them multiple times per day. Gosh, who the heck has time for all that? LOL

I spend the most time on stumbleupon as I get best results from them. I also enjoy using their toolbar. I've stumbled upon some very useful web design sites that have helped me.... especially when it comes to PhotoShop and CSS.
