Has Anyone Else Used It?

Hi! I came across this website as I was trying to fix a problem of mine and thought I'd ask here. I am currently attempting my luck at a new website, which is also including a blog, but I have a huge problem. I set up hosting with websitepalace.com, I have my domain, and I have the base of my site coded, but I can't figure out how to make my blog. Websitepalace.com offers blogging software for windows, but it says that it doesn't fit my plan. So I have been searching the net for about a week now, but can't find much. I am trying thingamablog, but I can't figure it out. I don't know all of the info I need for it. So, what it all boils down to, is that I need advice on making a blog with websitepalace.com. Or, if you can give me advice on setting up thingamablog, please do. Thanks in advance!

Which hosting plan did you choose? Did you choose Website Tonight or the basic hosting that starts at $3.99/month?

Why not just try installing WordPress instead. Here's a site that shows you how to set it up step by step. Even though the instructions are for GoDaddy, you can still follow the same instructions since GoDaddy is the parent company of WebsitePalace (my reseller site)

Hmm, odd, I followed all of those steps and at the last step I get an error page (when I go to "http://www.yourdomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php", but with my domain in place). Actually, I know what I did wrong, in step four (changing my account type from w/asp to w/php), I don't know how to do that with websitepalace, it's not quite the same as godaddy. Has anyone done this?

Hmmmm.... Not sure either. WebsiteBabble is actually hosted at WebsitePalace too but I've never had to configure that. Try emailing support@secureserver.net to see if they can help you out.
