Today I searched the name of my site on google to see what shows up. I searched "virtually skinny". On the good side, my site showed up first on the list. On the bad side, there was NO description!
In my WP layout, I added meta tags, key words, and a description, but why doesn't it show up on google?
I checked your site and you do have a description in the meta tags so it should be showing there, if there are no problems it should be updated next time Google crawls your site.
However you also have <meta name='robots' content='noindex, nofollow' /> on your homepage, do you use any SEO plugins or anything cos this is most likely the problem.
It would help to know how long your site has been up for and also did you always have your description added or did you update it recently to include the description.
Generally speaking, google could crawling the title, description on your site, and maybe you should try to use all in one seo, or now only 1 page indexed by google, you should get more indexed pages.I think it will appear your description.
You may also want to ensure that I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers is set under Privacy Settings.
Look under the Settings section on the left and click the Privacy link.
