I was wondering what some other bloggers out their think of occasionally or perhaps only one time only going off topic. Now and again there will be a topic that I want to blog about that has nothing to do with the niche of my blog.
This is just my opinion, but I think it's fine once and a while but you shouldn't do it much in the beginning while you are trying to establish a readership. But once you develop a following I don't think readers mind much if you want to take a break and talk about something fun or personal. Often times it can really help your visitors connect with you as a person. As long as you don't overdo it.

I have two main blogs I have been following for years. Occasionally they get off topic about something personal. I think that is one of the reasons I like them so much. It's nice to get to know more about the author of the blog.
