Default Categories but no pages......

Hey guys im useing wordpress and something accured to me today. I have quite a few categories but the only pages I have are home and about..... And I got rid of the about page today. Does this mean google only sees my website as only having one page? That would be awful for SEO.

So if that is the case any idea on how i can change my categoreis to pages?

Thanks for any help guys

If you're trying to display your categories on your homepage, login to you admin panel and select "design" then "widgets". You can add categories to your blog from there.

Hey Lisa,

No see I have categories on my home page but what im worried about is wordpress have a categories section and a pages section. I have some categories and lots of content but apart from the 'home' page I have nothing listed under 'pages'

Is this a problem?

It's not about whether or not you have more categories or pages. It's about you building quality posts on a regular basis. I don't think Google is concerned over whether it's a page or a post. The content is what they are more interested in. Just my 2 cents.
