Default Good Blogging/Website Resources!

I just wanted to share that every since I signed up with Blog Rush, I've seen a increase in my traffic. Also, I subscribed to ProBlogger.net, posted a comment and included on job blog and that brought additional traffic as well. And the same with Technorati. All this I can see from Google Analytics which I really like how stats are broken down to visits, types of visits, who/where they orginated from, etc. It's very impressive I have to say.

Also too, with my three blogs, I'm finding out the one that I created second, my job-blog seems to be getting the most attention, so to speak. Blogging about computers can be very broad, there are sooooo many other blogs/sites about it and it also be very competitive. My other one that I recently changed the name (again) gets some comments but again, not as much attention as my job-blog.

And I'm thinking when I join SBI soon, I may chose my job blog as the niche for the website, that's what's I'm thinking right now.

For anyone who hasn't signed up with Google Analytics, I would recommend doing that as well. I'm liking Feedburner too, I can see how many subscribers I have too. And again, I seem to have more subscribers on my job blog than my other two- Someone is trying to telling me something-

And lastly, I just wanted to say a special thanks to Lisa who has and continues to be a help in giving me (and all of us by means of this forum and her blogs/sites) info to help with my blogs as well as Techie Guy and so many others and I also noticed I've been getting a little traffic from other Website Babblers so I thank all you too!

Let's keep Blogging alive---

No problem, you're welcome.

Sounds like you are putting some plans together. Good for you.

You have helped me as well. I sometimes have trouble thinking about what I will write about on my blog, but I managed to write posts that were related to assisting you, as well as others.

It's always interesting where I come up with post ideas...many times they come from real life experiences.

Default You're right!

When you have real-life experiences, you want to talk about it so why not blog about it? I'm learning and appreciating that's what real blogging is all about. Sure, you have all the 'money-making' blogs and sites but if you don't have a love of what you're blogging about and you don't see the need to add new and fresh content, then why blog in the first place?

If we keep at it, the money will come later and it will be deserved-

All of my blogs are based on true, real-life, NON-fiction things, situations, etc. and yes you are right, it becomes very interesting and fun at the same time!

I'm so happy for you Renee. Sounds like you are headed down the right path and working hard!! Keep up the great work, girl.

And I couldn't agree more about the real life situations. When you've experienced what you write about it comes through in your writing.

Renee,

If I remember correctly, the reason you started 3 different blogs was to narrow down a topic for your SBI site... it sounds like you've already done that! Congrats, great accomplishments! Keep up the great work.

Renee, I gotta say, I think that starting blogs about potential niche topics is an excellent idea. I have heard of people starting blogs first, of course, but never as a means to compare and narrow niche choices.

Congrats on your success so far and good luck in the future.

Default Thanks Theresa!

Thank you Theresa! I just checked out your website. I love that pic on the main page there, very nice. My best friend and her husband are into gardening big time and she's always talked about having a fountain in her backyard but a water garden may sound like something she may like. I'm going to send her an email with a link to your site!
