Blog Commenting & Traffic Building - Page 2

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know any good Business Blogs? I have a business website and I'm still trying to get a lot of traffic to it. I have been submitting articles to article directories, and I'm signed up with a few forums, but I'm still not getting enough traffic. Any help would be appreciated.

Martha, there are tons of them. I think for starters you need to define a more specific type of blog. Business could encompass a number of things. B2B, work from home, affiliate marketing, etc. What specifically are you looking for? Have you done a google search for [niche] + blog to see what's out there?

Hello Lisa,

No I have not done a google search, and my website is a work from home business website that offer business opportunities for people looking to work from home. Please click on the link in my sig and check out my site and let me know what you think. Having said that I think the blog I need to visit is blogs that discuss work at home business opportunities.

Sorry Lisa,

I did not mean to do anything wrong I just suggested you look at my site to let you see why I thought the blogs I should be commenting in should be work at home blogs.

I will post for a review in the site review section.

Yes, I have noticed more traffic due to my participation with blogs. Sometimes I like to just hang out at Wordpress and look for the blogs that have a comment record next to the title in the index listing. If the blog looks interesting I check it out and post a comment. Usually the blog author sends me an email response commenting on my blog or site that they have visited.

It is time consuming but I only do it when I just want to relax and read a little. It is not really a place where my main focus is to increase traffic, the rewards are minimal for me.

This is kind of funny....I added my blog address to my sig on a site and totally forgot. I started a post on that site months later and I was shocked to see the flurry of incoming traffic! It wasn't spammy at all, but I guess the topic was enough to generate a ton of curiosity about who I was, and in turn what my site was about!
