I'm new to blogs and php applications, so I really don't have any idea what I'm doing with them. I would like to include a blog in the home page of my website, and I don't want to do it all by hand - I'm using dreamweaver. How can I get a blog thing up and running so that I just have to update the blog and then it updates on my homepage? Is this possible? Or does the blog have to have a page by itself?

You can integrate a blog feed into a page... check out:

You can enter the RSS Subscribe Feed, and it will give you a Javascript code and instructions (very simple) to insert it into your page.

So I need to create a blog first and then use this to put on my website?

I kind of got it to work. However, it only displays the first couple of sentences on my webpage. How can I get it display the entire blog?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's designed to post the entire blog entry. It's meant as a quick update or a convenient tool to let your site visitors know that you have a new blog entry... and it also allows people to read the first few lines, if they are interested, they can click on the link and it will direct them to your blog, where the entire entry is there.

I am sure there are other ones out there that would let you incorporate the entire entry, I will let you know if I come across one.

No thats quite alright, you've been great help! Thanks! I'll be using this for now, until I find one that allows you to post the whole thing. I guess it also makes sense not to clutter up the home page with this long blog, when its posted in full form on a separate page. I think this actually makes more sense. Thanks again for your help!
