Coupon for Thesis for Wordpress Expires Tomorrow
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but while reading up on Thesis, I ran across this ad for a rebate on Thesis for WordPress http://thesis.themecoupon.com/. $15 off the Personal Option and $30 off the Developer's Option. The lowdown: The coupon expires tomorrow, you get the refund after the 30 day money back guarantee and, due to the number of affiliate sites, it's very specific about how to redeem your coupon.
So, if you were thinking about purchasing Thesis anyway, here ya go.

I have a blogging buddy that was interested in Thesis, but he is in New Zealand and looks like this offer is only good in the US. I'll share the link with him anyway. Thanks!

I would appear the offer is good anywhere, since one pays by PayPal.
Claim must be submitted by November 30, 2009.
I also noted this at the very bottom of the page:
"For the month of November, we will be donating 50% of our proceeds to medical research:
- Whittemore Peterson Institute for Neuro-Immune Disease
And 50% to microfinance:
- MicroPlace.com – Invest wisely. End poverty.

Oh good. I shared the link with my friend. Not sure if he is going to use it though.
Thanks.

Yep, all the more reason to go for it. Glad they extended the date. Thanks for posting.

Hi. I am the site owner. Thanks for the publicity.
Anyone who can receive US dollars via PayPal is eligible for the rebate.
Find your country here:
paypal.com/worldwide
The expiration date will be extended every month. This is just to prevent it from ever becoming an abandoned site and to make it clear that the offer is currently valid.
A question for you:
Currently, I have designated half of all profits to charity and half to microfinance. As a visitor or customer, how important is it that you can see publicly and verify that the donations and loans have been made? When a site makes such a claim, do you believe them?
Services that can make the donations public such as FaceBook Causes and a few others cost more than donating directly to the nonprofits. They take 4.75% transaction fee while a direct donation to the nonprofit incurs between 1.9-3% transaction fee. I am trying to decide whether the credibility to my site is worth almost 3% less donation received by the nonprofits. Thanks!

I must admit that if I feel that the site is credible, I don't question it (dumb, I know). I, personally, would rather the money go towards the cause but I'm sure more goes into this decision than that.
I think the mere fact that you're pondering which way to go is awesome.

Thanks for the input. It's good to hear people have faith in others. Anyway, I have added a poll to my site with this question, although I suppose people probably just care about the discount!
