There are many tools available to generate the keywords of the web page. You just have to install it on your web page to trace the keywords.

I think the Google Adwords keyword tool is a good starting point for keyword research.
If you're not in the US, however, then make sure that you set it to produce results from your local search market only.

Why dont you know your topics keywords? If you have a blog, and its about a certain niche, you should know the trends, topics, keywords,,,,,. That is why bloggers pick topics they have experience or knowledge in.
If you have knowledge about your niche, then you have your keywords as well.
Sit down with a piece of paper and brain storm. Write down everything you you can think of about your blog. From there you also have a list of tags and keywords.

Very correct, once you have a niche that you are interested in then you should know the keyword that you want to be ranked for even without the use of keyword research tools. I dont use them because i already know the keywords that i want my blog to rank for.

Spy on your competitors. Go to there website and right click then view source. Keywords are not very difficult.

not an expert, but...
I am more of a beginner than an expert on this topic but I have learned a thing or two.
Even though I have what I consider key words because they are the terms I prefer, it pays to run a keyword checker on them and see what comes up.
For example, in talking about finances I hate the word "budget" and prefer the phrase "spending plan" because of the inherent meaning of the words and how I recommend using this tool. However, running a check I found that people search for "budget" often but for "spending plan" rarely. So I use the word "budget," even if only to say, I don't like a "budget."

At the beginner, you should get a basic keyword you want to use, such as "book selling". Then, you can use this seed to generate more long-tail keywords by using some tools. The goal is find high traffic but low competition keyword.
Free tool I used is google's keyword tool. The paid one is market samurai.
Of course, paid tools can make your life much easier.

Google AdWords Keyword Tool is one of the best tool to find good keywords. Wordtracker is one of the most essential SEO tools.Wordtracker will suggest hundreds of related phrases. Once you have clicked on all the phrases you like, run them through the program.

I find Wordtracker the most useful tool but you have to pay to use the full service, if you are looking for a free tool try the Google keyword tool.
