Thanks Webdev, I really don't want to start having to take extreme measures but will do what I have to. What people don't realize is when you do spam on forums is you actually have a LESS chance of people viewing your link because people know it's spam and people start ignoring your posts 'cause you lose credibility. I've already gotten emails about certain individuals here.

But if you continually offer great info like you have been doing here, you build up credibility and people will actually visit your site and may even buy things you recommend because you've built up that credibility from your good posts.

I post on another affiliate forum and someone PM'd me and complimented me on my site and said they were going to buy a product through my affiliate link because my advice in the forums had helped them so much. I didn't even have the affiliate link in my sig. They visited my site and read about the product.

So forums are actually a GREAT way to promote your site if you continue to contribute to the conversations and offer good advice, but spamming and subtly inserting affiliate links is worthless. People just ignore them because it's obvious who is really trying to help and who is just posting to advertise their site.

Hooray Lisa! Even though I don't post a lot I have been reading these threads for a while now and you're right. I never click on the spam or affiliate links 'cause it's obvious what people are doing.

But back to the topic, I have read numerous stories of people making gazillions on Clickbank but I think it's mostly people that know how to do PPC. I'm new to all this and don't have any money to spend on PPC anyway.

You can choose something that is general in topic that is sought after, like making money online (most people want to make money online) or you could go with a topic that is dear to your heart. Or you can go to clickbank and see what is hot in their marketplace. To do so, pay close attention to the gravity (grav) number at clickbank. This number tells you what is selling more on clickbank. There are some successful affiliate programs out there, that worth to join.

In any case, before joining any of them, do a backround check about them, because you never know... Check if the program is on a scam list... be sure it is a legitimate program and has been around for some years. If it is around for a couple of years, it means that they are doing ok, and it is a serious business.

I am a member of an affiliate program, that has been around for over 6 years, providing serious income for many people around the world.

The commision plan is great, the product is great and most of all, it is affordable.

Well if you are starting in affiliate markting the best way to do it is to write about something that you are passionate about, and it would be wise to check if there is an affiliate program for it. If there isr an affiliate program then you should have the green light to write.

Your passion will show in your writing . If you write about a subject that your not passionate about it will show be less informative therefore less profitable.

I think the best program to join is the one that is legit of course but you also need the believe that what you sell or promote is good and useful. That's why i don't like reselling some stupid e-books or programs that basicly promote nothing just getting money from the ones below you. Why would someone join a program just to pay like 1000$ to his sponsor and then wait to get someone else in that pays you 1000$ ?

I joined berrytree and nutronix because i like the products they sell and so i don't see the money i pay for products wasted that i need to urgently get back.
Automaticbuilder that is a tool to promote those 2 is the only thing I'm not sure if it's worth to get, but I'm still on free trial so it's OK.
I also tried to do pay per click programs but i think it's a waste of time unless you are really good in promoting and get 100+ active members in your downline.

I don't recommend RFS, if you plan to promote the product they do you better do it on your own or with the system GRN gives you.

Genbuks is a legit program, they have a lot of product for you to sell and commissions are good, you can also refer other people and get some extra income (but not much, 1$ for sing up and then 0-4% per sale they make depends on product)

Oh and please don't join any matrix system. Waste of time and money. It's again one of this things you don't promote anything but potential income.(by scamming others)

And before joining any programs, really check them out in different forums like this one. If it's a bad one someone will post about it for sure.
