Congrats! That's always a great feeling when you get that first sale from an affiliate program. Sort of makes you want to go in and find more things to promote doesn't it? I've always found that inspiring.

Yep for sure, just a tweak here, and a tweak there, can make a big difference!

It is definitely a great encouragement when you get your first sale, it indicates that you are actually on the right track.

Default I'm in kinda the same boat...

My Amazon is getting clicks, but no conversions (Unless you count the book that my wife bought). I started to write book reviews, but that still didn't seem to do anything.
My CJ is more of the same--lots of clicks, but no actual sales. I still don't have my own domain, though. I'm just promoting with my blogs. I plan on getting a domain name this month, and want to devote a large portion of my site to affiliate marketing.
Any hints? (Lisa? ...I'm kinda looking at you as my affiliate marketing "Yoda")

Are you doing any reviews on products you are promoting? I found that when I talk about the products I use and how they can help other people (specifics!) that helps with my conversions.
