Does anyone know anything about ClickBank CDR?

Hello everyone,

A few months ago I put a video on Youtube promoting my newsletter and a ClickBank product. I completely forgot about the video but have recently noticed it's generating sales via ClickBank. It's not much but I'm quite excited because I don't promote the video at all

The link above is a screenshot of my sales, as I say it's not much but I'm quite happy with it. Now as you can see it says my payment status is 'CDR'. As I understand this is a policy ClickBank have in place to protect them from fraud. Something about a minimum of 5 sales on 2 different payment plans. Here is the section from their account policy:

ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:

* Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
* Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.

Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date.

I'm just wondering if anyone can clarify that the above is their CDR policy. Also has anyone had any problems with it?

Jack,

Yes, I do believe that the section you pasted in your post is indeed their CDR policy.

I have not had problems with it. I recall that when I first started with Clickbank, most of my initial purchases were from Visa cards. Once someone I referred used a Mastercard, I started getting checks from Clickbank. Never had a problem with them since.

On a side note, it's exciting when you do something, forget about it, and then out of nowhere, it starts generating sales. It's exciting, isn't it?

Phew that's good then. It's funny how they try to hide the policy by naming it something else.

That’s really good to hear. I just took a look and noticed 2 have paid by Visa and 1 by PayPal so I just need 2 more sales

Yeah! When I first logged into ClickBank I didn't even believe they were sales haha. As you can imagine I'm now looking to do the same with other products
