I read somewhere that it's best to find programs that pay you residuals. Where's the best place to find affiliate programs that pay you for multiple sales?
Allan Gardyne (my hero) has a site called http://www.lifetimecommissions.com where he lists all the top affiliate programs that pay residuals (or lifetime commissions).
I'm telling you, if you can find residual programs in your niche that is the way to go. I resell domain names and hosting and it's the best thing that could have ever happened to my biz.

i often read about resell programs on web hosting sites but don't know what it is? When you say you resell domain what does that mean? Do you mean you buy domain names and sell them to people who want to buy it off you?
Yes, with reseller programs you normally get to set your own price and there is a buy rate. So let's say you resell domain names for a company and the buy rate is $4.00 for a one year domain. (buy rate is pre-determined by merchant company) If you set your price at $9.00 for a one year domain name then you earn a $5.00 commission for every domain name you sell.

There are people who post websites already created on ebay and they sell them for $0.99 just to get you to bid on the auction and then part of the auction requirements is for you to sign up with their hosting company and they earn residual income from the monthly fees. I don't do it, but I have purchased from these auctions before. I think it is a good idea, but I personally don't have much patience with ebay.
