Default How Do You Cloak Affiliate Links?

I have been trying to find instructions I can follow, but to no avail!

I would like to learn to cloak my affiliate links (up to now, I just haven't bothered ) I am using SBI, so if there is a special way specific for SBI I would love to know!! Lisa I noticed that you do use redirects on your stomach site, which is SBI so I know that it can be done!!

    Thanks!

    Default One possibility...

Can't give too many details but perhaps point in the right direction (one possible solution anyway).
You can do this is with what is called a php redirect. Of course this means using php for your site which doesn't mean having to use a lot of php but does require changing the extensions of pages to php instead or html (or htm) and a few other basics.

This is often recommended as a way to avoid having affiliate links hacked.

Search for php redirect and you will find lots of explanations.
    Good Success!

    Thanks James,

That therein is my problem. I am on SBI, and the file name extension is always html, no others. I am not sure if it is possible!! I have been looking into the cloaking software options...but not really sure which way to go!

Why do you wish to cloak the links?

To keep my site tidy, affiliate links are so ugly!! And also prevent affiliate income theft, though not an internet marketing niche.

It is pretty common practice with experienced internet marketers.
