site monetizisation(affiliate)

hi,

i was wondering how long i have to wait before i start to monetize my site. any idea? should i wait until i'm accepted by all the main directories. most of my pages are already showing with google and yahoo and i receive around 50visitors a day.any suggestion?

I see no reason why you shouldn't start now, just keeping in mind that balance is key and that your traffic is low so don't expect much in terms of sales just yet. Try weaving a few recommendations into your content and begin testing clicks, etc. Just don't go overboard with ads everywhere. Try a few options and see how they work for you.

I think if you want to make some money from your site, traffic is not enough, you need targeted traffic, which means traffic with potential to buy something.

My view is set up your affiliates whenever you want to. It's always best to have your site ready to make money. But as Lisa has said on many of her videos, do not get too worried about moving everything around and checking stats. Work on traffic and the money will follow.
