It really depends on your niche.

Clickbank has high payouts but only really has E-Books and most of them are junk. (sometimes 60%+ commisson)

Amazon has pretty much any product you could imagine but their payouts are really low (2-6%)

Commission Junction is my favorite because it's a mix in the middle. Most products have high payouts and it's not just E-Books.

Hope I helped a bit

I am a fan of CJ to, but it really depends on your niche and what type of products you're looking for.

clickbank. Not all products are junk you just have to know which ones to pick! I like pepper jam network the best if your gonna sell actual products, not digital ones. High payout and good reputation.

I vote for CJ. Of the income streams I am developing, they run in third place. As I continue to expand by generating more web pages the payouts are increasing too.

It depends on your niche, geographic location and relevancy of the merchants.. but I've always found Affiliate Window to be very good.

For what I do - Amazon is by far the best. They have a wide range of products, and a massive amount of banner selections.

Just about any kind of product I want to promote, I can do it using the tools through amazon.

Does it make a difference in affiliates if you are doing a blog versus a web site?

I like CJ as well. I've also just started using linkshare and onenetworkdirect. Onenetworkdirect in particular seems to have high quality vendors. Not making anything right now in affiliate income though.

Of course I agree with everyone that it depends on your niche, etc.

On a personal level, I like:

Clickbank, because the commission is good, and the pay is frequent (weekly with direct deposit or a check every 2 weeks).

CJ is always reliable and have a wide selection of merchants

Shareasale, because there is a feature that lets you create a custom link to any of your merchant's pages.
