Hey everyone,

I put up my site over the weekend and just saw my first google adsense. Not only that, but it was generating appropriate links, which makes me very happy.

I'd like to match the colors on the ads as best as possible to blend in with the current background and links used on my site, however I don't have the exact color code for the colors I'm using. (The site was a template and I can't seem to find the colors within the code).

Until I figure out a better system, I've been sending screen captures to this site, which picks out a palette. (http://www.degraeve.com/color-palette/) The colors are close, but not quite there.

Are there any tools that you know of that will point out or match web colors? Any ideas on how I can figure out what colors are being used? This is a Drupal based template.

I'm not sure of any tools that do this, although there probably are. I usually just do a screen capture and paste that into an image editor. I then use the eyedropper tool on a colour and get the RGB value.

Is it a wordpress theme? It looks like it but I can't be sure.

Anyway...this is what i do to match link color with adsence with a new theme.

* Get a free css editor like Rapid Css Editor or Top Style

* Load the theme's css in the editor

* Find the link color

* you got the exact link color now

* input it into you adsense.

You can do this with any of the colors in the css

I have looked at the source of your Web site and it appears that the template you are using uses several CSS files, and they arre located in the "/modules" and "/themes" directory off your root.

If you want to have a look at them simply open the source of your web page and look for the lines starting with "<style type="text/css". Copy the location of the CSS and past it right after your URL in the address bar.

For example, one CSS line looks like:

<style type="text/css" media="all">@import "/themes/evening-5.x-1.0/evening/style.css";</style>

You would then paste the location into your browser so it looks like:

http://online-gaming-addiction-resource.com/themes/evening-5.x-1.0/evening/style.css

This actually isn't a wordpress theme, it's a drupal theme based off of a wordpress theme, though.

I'll try pasting the CSS into my browser and see what I come up with.
