Default How's AdBrite?

Lisa, I noticed you use AdBrite. Are you pleased with the results? Is it better or does it compare to AdSense?

Default @Lisa

Please eloborate on Adbrite. I've heard of Adsense, but with both you have to pay correct? Some results of how much traffic it's brought to your site would be helpful. I guess this is something I'd like to know more about. I have a website and am now interesting in driving more traffic there. This is one of the reasons I joined this forum. But as much as I can, I"m trying to drive traffic using Keywords, Word of Mouth Adverstiing, SEO tool add-ins on Mozilla, and anything Free that I can use to drive traffic. Lisa or anyone, do you know of any other FREE tools that people can use to increase traffic? I know you have to pay for Adsense, so I haven't used it. I'm el cheapo.

Jimmy, both are free.

AdSense and AdBrite don't help you drive traffic, though. They are ways of making money from the traffic you do have and I wouldn't join either unless you are getting at least 100 visits per day.

For example I get a lot of people finding my site in Google for keywords on how to build a website so I use AdSense and AdBrite to display related advertisements and I get paid when people click.

We can start a discussion in the traffic forum if you want to discuss further traffic building tips but I want to keep this thread on topic and related to AdBrite.

AttackDepression, AdBrite is going very well. The reason I joined was because I am constantly getting emails from people who want to advertise on my site and I had no convenient way of tracking the data, accepting their payments, etc. so AdBrite does it for me. AdBrite manages everything from taking the ad down on the expiration date, renewing the ad, billing, etc.

They also display targeted ads like AdSense does if you don't have any advertisers but I will say the ads aren't as well targeted as AdSense so I wouldn't use them as a replacement for AdSense. They are best to use if you need a spot for webmasters to advertise on your site.

I would agree with that and even 150 visits per day may be low because that's what I get and my AdSense earnings are about .50 per day. Jimmy you should read Lisa's traffic book. She's got some basic tips on driving traffic to your site and there's good advice. Some of it you probably already know (meta tags, etc. but there are some other cool tips like the screensaver tip) I've been writing articles for ezinearticles.com as suggested in the book and it's really helping me. Here's the link

Oops, I got off topic. Back to AdBrite. Thanks for letting me know Lisa because I didn't realize it was also for allowing other people to pay for ads on your site. I heard the same thing about the network ads not being very targeted and I was wondering if you felt the same.

Oh and one more question? Do you just set your own ad prices and AdBrite takes a percentage?

You got it. AdBrite takes a percentage of each amount that the webmasters pay me to advertise.

Jimmy, it should be an executable. It's the software I used. Don't worry it's no virus. LOL Also check out my Traffic section. Most of the strategies are methods I've used to draw traffic to my site.
