Question about adsense

hello

i was about to sign up for goodle adsense and i saw this

Policies
AdSense applicants must agree to adhere to AdSense program policies (details)

I agree that I will not click on the Google ads I'm serving through AdSense.
I will not place ads on sites that include incentives to click on ads.
I agree that I can receive checks made out to the payee name I have listed above.
I will not place ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials.
I will not place ads on sites that include pornographic content.
I certify that I have read the AdSense Program Policies.

now this may be a silly question, but looking at the second requirement, does this mean that i am not allowed to join affiliate programs and other commission programs if i sign up for adsense?

(because i assume that the other ads will be of the click on type)

Hi Martin,

I think what they meant is incentives to click on the Google Ads. That's to say, they do not permit a webmaster to say, "Click Here" or "If You Click Here, You will be supporting me".... or "highly recommended links" - or something that encourages your website visitor to click.

The idea is that Google wants the visitor to be aware that they are clicking on an ad... and that they are clicking on it, because they are interested in the ad, not for any other reason.

Absolutely. I have CJ, ClickBank, and tons of other affiliate links on my sites with AdSense.
