Would my blog look too "ady" if I added a 2nd ad space to the right side of my page? It would go right underneath the one already there.

The second ad section on the side shouldn't hurt much, especially if you could place just a little content between it and one you have already.

But frankly, and it is just my opinion, I always find the content type ads overbearing and unwelcome. Unless I was getting rich off them I would ditch those. I don't think I'm the only one who has to have a strong attachment to a site to stay once I see them. They are a strong distraction.
