Default AdSense Question

I have all of my three blogs with AdSense, my only issue is that I'm having a issue uploading the html file on to my blog pages. When I do this, I still an error with AdSense being able to see it and now Google can 'crawl' my site. Has anyone had a similiar issue?

I've tried both to copy both the html code and the meta file but Google still doesn't recognize it.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure where you are adding the Adsense code. I can see google ads in your sidebars of your blogs.

It can take several minutes for Google to display new ads on your site.

Default H-m-m-m

I think I explained it incorrectly. I meant when I'm siging up for Google to actually crawl my site via AdSense setup and when I'm given a html code or a meta file, based on the instructions, I have to place it in the header. I do this but I get a msg indicating that Google can't find the file.

I'll fool around with it again later this morning. I'll post back if I have the same issue, I have a feeling that I will-

You mean the meta tag that Google provides.

In blogger, you can simply add the meta tag (provided by Google) into the head section of your template.

For example, your template should contain something similar to:

<head>
<meta content='[value supplied by Google]' name='verify-v1'/>
</head>

Default Yes, but no

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about, TE, but it still doesn't work and you know what? I can't find that particular section in my header. I'm going to look at it this evening sometime. I'm at work right now- I just wanted to reply back to you.

In blogger, you will need to edit your blog's layout in HTML.

From the Dashboard:

1. Click Layout.
2. In the menu select Edit HTML.
3. Locate the <head>tag in the layout and insert the tag provided by Google.

Default I know what happened before!

TE,

When I checked my AdSense account, I had the appropriate adsense ads on my blogs, BUT I went into WebMaster tools and my blogs couldn't register just because I didn't the www before the actual blog name! I deleted them and added them again with the full http://wwwurl/blogname and then inserted the meta file right below the head field (via Layout, Edit HTML) and Google was able to verify it/them.

So, thank you again for your help!

With wordpress you can add the Adsense code to your Text widget. Login to the dashboard and click "Presentation" and then "Widget". Click and drag the Text widget onto either the left or right sidebar.

When you click the little icon on the Text widget it brings up a freeform HTML block that allows you to paste the AdSense code into it.
