This program has video advertisements that play on your site. It's free to join and while I am still building my 2 different websites I figured I would join. The cool thing is that you get credit for the person seeing the add just by them visiting your site because it auto plays, rather than having to click on a link. Let me know if anyone else knows of any other similar programs.

If I recall, there has been some discussion about PPP in this forum before.

Although not similar, you can insert YouTube videos with an Adsense ad embedded in the top of the video window, which may increase clickthrough the Adsense ad... so not the same, but somewhat similar. You can get the code for that through your Adsense account.

Here is the potential issue with PPP, however. You said, the video plays automatically when someone visits the page... that can get pretty annoying, when someone visits a page, and a video starts playing automatically.

While I understand that you would get paid when the video plays, I would consider (if available) turning the auto play off, for the sake of not irritating my website visitors.

Ok, so I visited the site, and here some questions/comments:

1. I misunderstood, I thought it was a video like those you find on YouTube, but it's a 5-sec audio ad, which is not as bad, I guess, but could still be annoying, and a site visitor may avoid coming back to your site. Also, could you imagine... a lot of people do unrelated web surfing at work, and if their audio starts to play, boy would they be in trouble?

2. There is no mention of how much you would get paid per ad, is it 1 cent, or is it per 1000 plays?

3. PPP is a multi-tier program, so you probably posted your affiliate link, which is against forum rules, but would also make one wonder if you posted this to really ask the opinion of Website Babble, or so that you would get sign-ups through you. Anyway, still an interesting idea to advertise.
