Default Awaiting Adsense Verification

Hey ppl,

I signed up for google adsense 2-3 days ago, and still, no verification email.

Just wondering...how long did it take google to verify your accounts?

Thanks,
Gigababbler

Hmmm... only took my site about a day or less and recently I've heard people getting accepted in a few hours. I wonder if they're backlogged.

I'd give it a few days. Wait until after the Holiday and then try emailing their support.

well, i used to have another adsense account for my blogger.com blog, but it's long abandoned. I wrote the same address and payee name as this one. Do you think that they rejected my submission because it's my second account?

PS: i just deleted the old adsense account...

Oh! Yeah not sure you should have done that. You should probably just use the same account. No need to sign up for a new account for another site. You just place the same code on your page and Google will manually verify the new site over time.

I do stupid things when I'm worried.

Ya think I could still receive that verification email?

Don't worry, just email Google and tell them what happened. It was an honest mistake. In the meantime is that other account still active? Can't you just use that code on your new site?

Oh I didn't realize that. I thought it was still active. Well that's a different story then. I would still contact them though.
