Blog Rush?

I've heard that if I have a BlogRush widget on my blog, Google may cancel my AdSense account? Are the two not getting along?-

Just want to make sure. Since I'm starting out and Google approved me, I don't want to have anything on my blog that interfere with that, you know?

Lisa, I think I might have read something about BlogRush from one of your blogs but I can't remember-

Really? Never heard this one Renee. You may want to check with AdSense's terms and conditions to be sure. I don't have AdSense on my blog anymore so it would be a non issue in my case.

I checked out the AdSense Help forum and there was a question about this, but it seems like it doesn't go against their TOS, at least I don't think it does. The answers were posted by other bloggers who have blog adsense and BlogRush on their blogs.

I just added BlogRush to my job blog and I'm waiting for the actual widget to appear after adding the html code to the layout of my blog. How long does it usually take to appear? Just wondering.

Yeah I hadn't heard it was a violation and I know I've seen many other blogs with both so I think you'll be fine. It could take a day or two to get the widget going. I think it took that long when I first joined.
