Default Traffic

Hi guys,

1)People say that you should wait until you have traffic before you put up adsense ads. Im new to website designing....how do you know how much traffic you are getting on your website? As in what tools do you use?

2) Is it possible to buy traffic or is that not allowed with Google?

Check out Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing. You can pay for rankings for certain keywords if it's in your budget.

Sign up with Google Analytics. You can paste some code on your pages and they will track your visitors.
