Default Adsense and YouTube

How do i get adsense on my youtube videos?

I know you must have a channel with some amount of subscribers and some amount of videos. What else after that?

I applied to be a YouTube partner numerous times and they finally accepted me when I had 500 subscribers

I don't know if this is the 'magic number' but it's something to shoot for... once you are a partner you get more options to customize your channel and begin to get the revenue which your videos ads pull in which isn't much compared to organic website traffic...

I believe acceptance comes down to the number of subscribers, number of video views, and the number of channel views. I've heard of people getting accepted with less than 100 subscribers, so that leads me to believe video views plays a role too.

You go to youtube.com/partners. Just make sure you are signed in.

I didn't know that video views play a role also. But if you think about it if you have at least 500 subscribers you should have a great deal of video views I would assume.

In most cases it should be enough, but not all. I've heard all kinds of stories after I did my YouTube video about the partner program. Someone told me they had over 500 subscribers but still got declined. so I think YouTube looks at he whole picture.
