When I first joined, multiple times per day like you so I can definitely relate. But now.... maybe every other day. Sometimes I go 2-3 days without checking.

About once a month or so. Adsense is not my biggest money maker so I don't pay as much attention to it as I used to.

I check it once in a while. Not as much as I did in the beginning.

Selling direct text ads is the biggest income generator in my entertainment site. Adsense only generated around $300/year, though I must admit I could probably do better with Adsense if I worked on my placement strategies.

I check once a day since I launched my new site this past month.

It is frustrating, because I have a 1 page site with SEO limited strictly to the building of the site and it makes a few dollars a week, where as my new 40 page site with submissions to directories, articles and more has not made a dime.

I understand I am hitting a competitive market and only a month or so old, but not even in top 100 pages. I currently am adding 2-3 pages a week with my story board target of 60.

So, to answer your question, I check each day adsense and analytics to see if I am found yet. A longer post, but I like this thread because I was really wondering if it was just me.

I actually started doing it by accident. Someone emailed me and expressed interesting in buying a text link on my site. I wasn't sure how much was a fair price, so I asked what is was worth to him. He came back with an offer that I thought was more than fair, so I agreed.

After that, advertisers just started coming for me out of nowhere. I developed a pricing plan based on demand and space available, and I keep track of them all in an Excel document.

I've had somewhere around 10-15 different advertisers, with no effort on my part. Many of them renew their ads every year. Maybe I was mentioned on some kind of advertising network or something?

Anyway, if you want an estimate of what a text ad on your site may be worth, check this out: http://www.direct-link-ads.com/

Keep in mind, it's only an estimate. I actually sell mine for higher than the site thinks it's worth. The site recommends that Lisa charges about $50 a month for text ads, but Lisa sells them directly on her blog for only $15. That's a steal! How nice of you, Lisa.

Thank you. It's just an introductory price since I just started selling ads last month. They will likely increase in the future.

I check my adsense usually once a day in the morning, to see what I earned the previous day. Sometimes my weekend is so busy that I wont be able to check it all over the wekend.

For most people, adsense is not of much interested due to low earnings...i have seen that it has dropped 1/3 in some cases
